Position Summary
We are seeking a full-time podiatrist for our Kingston, New York location. The podiatrist will diagnose and treat conditions affecting the lower legs, feet, and ankles. Responsibilities include consulting with patients, practicing evidence-based medicine, prescribing appropriate medications and devices, and performing necessary procedures and surgeries. Continued education on medical advancements and treatments is expected.

Essential Functions, Job Duties, and Responsibilities
Clinical Knowledge
- Demonstrate knowledge of the etiologies, risk factors, pathophysiology, and epidemiology of medical conditions.
- Apply critical thinking to synthesize and analyze collected data.
- Develop, implement, and adjust plans of care as indicated.
- Demonstrate proficiency in procedural skills relevant to the practice area.
Patient Care
- Provide compassionate care by incorporating patients and their families into care planning and treatment across settings.
- Serve as an advocate for patients and families as they navigate the healthcare system.
- Ensure clinical documentation, including coding and billing, meets all required standards.
- Use the EHR proficiently to complete documentation in a timely manner.
Practice-Based Learning and Clinical Improvement
- Demonstrate insight into personal strengths, limitations, and knowledge gaps while continuously seeking opportunities for clinical advancement and skill development.
- Actively participate in self-evaluation by seeking and applying guidance and constructive feedback professionally.

- Work and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary team members, healthcare professionals, patients, and their families.

Requirements
Education and Experience
- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree.
- Completion of an accredited residency program and board certification.
- Surgical experience preferred.
