Associate Podiatrist
Family Foot Care Group LLP
Full-Time Podiatrist — Hudson Valley, NY
Family Footcare Group LLP is focused on delivering high-quality, complete foot and ankle care. Our providers combine decades of experience with a forward-thinking, innovative approach to treatment in order to maximize patient outcomes and experiences across all lower extremity conditions. We also provide coverage of wound centers offering hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) treatment.
The practicing podiatrist is responsible for diagnosing and treating all conditions relating to the lower legs, feet, and ankles. Their duties include consulting with patients, practicing evidence-based medicine with best practices, prescribing appropriate medication and devices as indicated for the condition, and performing all necessary procedures and surgeries to remedy patients’ conditions. Continued education on medical advancements and treatments is expected.
We are seeking a Full-Time Podiatrist to join our team across our Hudson Valley offices, including Monticello, Liberty, Callicoon, Middletown, Monroe, and Port Jervis, NY.

Essential Functions, Job Duties & Responsibilities
Clinical Knowledge
Demonstrates knowledge of etiologies, risk factors, pathophysiology, and epidemiology of medical conditions
Utilizes critical thinking to synthesize and analyze collected data
Develops, implements, and alters the plans of care as indicated
Demonstrates proficiency in procedural skills pertinent to practice area
Patient Care
Provides compassionate care, incorporating the patient and family in care planning and treatment across settings
Serves as an advocate for patients and families in navigating the health care system
Clinical documentation, including coding and billing, meets all required standards
Utilization and proficiency of EHR, allowing for timely completion of documentation
Practice-Based Learning and Clinical Improvement
Demonstrates insight into own strengths, limitations, and knowledge deficits, continuously seeking opportunities for clinical advancement and skill attainment
Actively participates in self-evaluation by seeking and utilizing guidance and constructive feedback in a professional manner
Communication and Interdisciplinary Collaboration
Works and communicates effectively with multidisciplinary team members, all related health professionals, patients and their families
Promotes mutual respect and trust working within a team model

Education & Experience
Doctoral degree in podiatric medicine
Completion of accredited residency with board certification
Surgical experience preferred
HBO certification is a plus
